Sol-Care™ Syringe with Safety Needle

Our Sol-Care™ Safety Needles are compatible with standard Luer Lock and Luer Slip Tip syringes (ISO 80369-7). They are a recommended pairing with our standard 3-piece syringe. These safety needle and syringes come in a wide variety of combinations for every situation.
These safety needle and syringe combinations are placed side-by side within the blister pack for clinician convenience in drawing up and administering medications.
Features:
• One-handed activation of the safety shield that can be done with your thumb or on a hard surface
• Color-coded safety shield and hub for facilitating identification of needle size
• Bevel up needle for low-angle injections without interference by the safety shield
• LDS Syringes and needles are designed to reduce waste of fluids and thus may allow obtaining a complete number of doses from each vial
• Designed according to ISO 7886-1, ISO 7864 and ISO 23908
• Not manufactured with Latex, PVC and DEHP
• Additional needle length and syringe capacity combinations, with and without low dead space feature, are available on request.

Intended use: Used to inject fluids into, or withdraw fluids from, the body.

Intended user: Licensed healthcare professionals (HCP).

Sol-Care™ Safety Needle

The Sol-Care™ Safety Needle is designed to help prevent needlestick injuries. Every needle is equipped with a pivoting safety shield mechanism that locks in place to lower the risk of accidental injury after medication administration.

• Two options for protective arm activation: hard surface activation and thumb activation
• Simple one-handed safety shield mechanism; Audible click indicates that the safety mechanism is secured and locked in place
• Hubs, protective shields, and packaging are color-coded for facilitating the identification of needles gauges (ISO-6009)
• Protective arm designed not to obstruct visualization of injection site; Bevel-up needle allows for low-angle injections
• Compatible with all standard Luer Lock and Luer Slip syringes (ISO 80369-7)
• Designed according to ISO 7864 and 23908
